Alliance of Valiant Arms SEA Press Conference
Friday, 30 September 2011 - the stage within has been set to perfection and stone faced guards posted outside.
It was the day of the press conference for Alliance of Valiant Arms SEA (AVASEA). Held in Singapore's Colosseum Cybercafe, members
of the press from both Singapore and Malaysia have been invited to attend Asiasoft's official introduction of their latest free-to-play First Person Shooter (FPS), alongside their new FPS portal www.playfps.com.
The press were greeted by the AVA cosplayers and all received a very sweet "weapons pack" press goodie bag containing a Steel Series
keyboard and mouse, along with an AVA mousepade and HDD drive packed with gorgeous AVA images and factsheets.
The press conference was conducted by Mr. Leslie Lin, Marcomm Manager, and Mr. Jeffrey Tan, Product Leader for PlayFPS and
AVASEA. Both of them ran through the game's numerous features, such as AVA's fully customisable weapons and gear, high level
graphics, solid, highly tactical gameplay as well as three different character classes to specialise in.
There are also plans for gaming leagues and competitions planned for next year. Mr. Lin also introduced PlayFPS, a portal started by
Asiasoft for all FPS game updates and event news.
Everyone got a chance to get a hands-on session of AVA after the presentation and five brave volunteers even stepped up to take on the Asiasoft staff in an AVA
challenge playing the Tank Escort mode. In this mode, one team will be escorting a tank to a designated area while the opposing team
tries to stop them using RPGs.
The members of the press prevailed in that challenge and walked away with attractive AVA goodies.
